Spice American Adventures makes this site possible. It's a cool short story book written by Mike Strom, a man whose mission is to help make Portland the Paris of the Northwest... I mean what other place has so many cool bridges? Steel Bridge is best, but St. Johns is ultra-awesome. Whataya think? I think our frontier is taking on the shades of civilization... Just check out the Alberta district and the Pearl and you will see what I'm getting at.

Cedar Shack Productions On the Spot with Video

Staff

Cedar Shack Productions, a SW Washington based video production company, showed up in Astoria on July 30th and started principal photography for their Outsider Artwalk video series. Art news reporter Erica Rodman and crew visited Noel Thomas, Derron Orange, Mike De, Isabelle, and Ron Boyd in the weekend of filming. The crew was spotted Lunching at Clemente's on Saturday and held an impromptu staff meeting at the Astoria Coffee house at the old Finnish Meat Market on Sunday. Word is that they lodged at the Grandview Inn, where they were reported to enjoy the bagal and lox breakfast. Rumors swirl of further shoots of selected artists for a video production of North Coast Artists.
